Ekaterinburg is going to host the All-Russian Logging Championship LESORUB-2018 within the GRAND-EXPO-URAL Week in Ekaterinburg on 19-21 September 2018. According to Aleksey Orlov, the first Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk region, “The Championship is a competition between chainsaw and forestry machine operators. It features master classes and a packed program of events involving federal speakers, as well as cultural activities and entertainment for numerous city visitors. This Championship may become a serious project”.
Igor Zelenkin, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Science of the Sverdlovsk region said that the Championship will be partially financed by the federal budget. He added that “38 Russian forest regions have been invited to take part in the Championship, and 12 have already confirmed their participation. Besides, we are expecting specialists from Belarus. It will be one of the most spectacular events”.
The Lesorub-2018 Championship will take place at the GRAND EXPO-URAL Week and will bring additional professional audience.
One of the evens within GRAND EXPO-URAL is LESPRPOM-URAL Professional, the largest exhibition of forestry and woodworking machines, equipment and technology in the Ural-Siberian region.
